Meet Bruce of Fall River Ranch and see one of the ranch’s hardworking Border Collies in action! At Fall River Ranch, herding dogs are more than companions, they’re essential partners, working year-round to move sheep in all kinds of weather.

The ranch is home to Badger, winner of the 2021 national herding championship for Border Collies under three years old. Badger continues to compete and win at herding trials while serving as a role model for the ranch’s younger dogs.

During this live demonstration, Bruce will work with one of those younger dogs to show how Border Collies are trained and why they play such an important role in managing livestock.

Grab a bite from our food trucks and head to the Center for the Arts lawn to watch these incredible working dogs in action!
